The Playgear skin gallery has changed a bit and it’s mostly straightforward.
Downloading
1. Click on “Gallery” in the top right.
2. Click on a catagory.
3. Click on an image. You will now see a preview thumbnail.
4. If you want to download the image, click on the link “Fullsize:” above and to the right of the image or click the dropdown menu and select the largest resolution.
5. The image will reload as full-size. Due to the set up of the gallery, it will look cut off. That’s ok. Just right-click on the image and save it to your computer.
That’s it.
Uploading
To upload an image:
1. You have to register with the gallery to upload skins.
2. Download the templates located on the main page below the Google Ads.
3. Use the 300dpi template if your image is a nice, high resolution. Use the 150dpi image if your image is lower resolution.
4. Select an appropriate catagory then click “add item”. Use one of the upload methods and label the image, if you want.
Done.
Logitech’s Pimp My PSP
If you don’t want to use the PSD template or feel using the template is too complicated Logitech offers an application called Pimp My PSP that allows you to make Playgear skins.
