The site is essentially the same as it was before except that it takes one extra step to get to the skins. At the top right is a link called “Gallery“. Click that to get to the images. You do not have to be a member to download but you have to register with the gallery to post new ones. The templates are located on the sidebar, below the Google Ads.

Use the 300dpi template if your image is a nice, high resolution. Use the 150dpi image if your image is lower resolution.

You will have to re-register. I tried to find a way to convert the old 4images gallery to the current gallery but there was no easy way to do it. Other than that, everything is more-or-less as it was. Enjoy.

M.A.C.H. to be Released on PSP in February

Sierra Entertainment is releasing a flight combat slash racing game called M.A.C.H. (Modified Air Combat Heroes).

“In the year 2049, the governments of the world switched to unmanned aircraft for combat in an attempt to save lives. By doing so, they decommissioned thousands of jets and their fighter pilots, ironically destroying the livelihood of those they were trying to save. Years later, these planes appeared on the black market and were sold to the highest bidders. It wasn’t long before an underground emerged, featuring ex-fighter pilots, smugglers and wealthy hobbyists piloting the decommissioned aircraft. In a competition of fight and flight, these pilots heavily modify their jet fighters to outrace and out duel the competition to win fame, glory and fortune. Welcome to the world of M.A.C.H.”

Honestly, the premise sounds completely retarded. Creating roboplanes completely destroyed the Fighter Pilot Economic Model which forced the ex-pilots to prostitute their skills to third world, blackmarket, racing circuits? I’m trying but I don’t think I have enough rope to suspend that amount of disbelief.

The key features include:

” Rise through the ranks by defeating rivals and unlocking customized parts and planes for enhanced speed and weaponry - 180 over-the-top configurations are possible across 11 planes. Gamers will take to the skies for intense aerial racing action and deadly air-to-air combat throughout a variety of environments. They can also choose from multiple gameplay modes including:

The old site was feeling a bit creaky and the place needed a new coat of paint. I hope the new site makes everything a bit easier for everyone. For those interested, it’s now running Wordpress 2 with Gallery2 integrated into it and SimpleMachines forum.

PSP Gets a Camera, GPS

Network World reports that the PSP has received two new peripherals. “The first, a ¥5,000 (US$43) digital camera add-on called Chotto Shotto (Quick Snap), is due to go on sale on Nov. 2 in Japan. The 1.31-megapixel swiveling camera is housed in a shiny chrome case that attaches to the mini USB slot at the top of the PSP. While no games exist that make use of the camera yet, the supplied software allows users to take shots of themselves or others and add simple graphics.”
